Craig Perry started Centerline Homes 19 years ago with the idea to develop and build innovative homes in prime locations that meet and exceed the needs of today’s buyers.
Believing in his own vision before attempting to convince others, making educated decisions and taking calculated risks are Perry’s formula for success. He puts a strong emphasis on creating an environment of honesty and integrity at Centerline Homes.
Today, Perry can say he succeeded in his goal of creating a business that is profitable and reputable and able to thrive during the down cycles of the economy.
Perry sees great value in hiring and retaining the best employees who share his vision. Employees are encouraged to speak openly about any issues they might encounter or that could enhance the company’s success.
While there is no formal training structure in place, he is willing to invest the time in training by immersing new hires in day-to-day activities. Perry believes in building long-term relationships with partners and employees alike.
Because of Perry’s efforts, Centerline Homes has turned profits during 17 out of the 19 years of operation.
Most importantly, the company has been able to provide quality homes to more than 5,000 families. Perry takes pride in customer satisfaction, which is evidenced by a 98 percent approval rating on the monthly satisfaction surveys.
Being a great corporate citizen is also part of Perry’s vision for Centerline Homes. The company contributes to a variety of causes, including the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Kids in Distress and the Children’s Home Society.
The company also gives back by participating in Habitat for Humanity and other community events.
