Born: Milwaukee

Education: Undergraduate degree and MBA, Stetson University

Person whom you admire the most in business: The guy we identify with the most in our industry is Warren Buffett. He looks for value and a good business model, but allows people to continue to do what they’re doing and gives help where needed but not coming in and trying to just change for the sake of change.

Best business advice you’ve ever received: I learned very early on that persistence will always beat resistance. It’s that idea of never give up. If you’re just persistent and continue to chip away, more often than not, even when you think it fell through, you close the opportunity.

If you could be one superhero, which one would you be and why?

Superman. Who wouldn’t want to be Superman? I was a big fan of his since I was about 5 years old, and he’s got everything.
