Melissa joined Smart Business Network in its early years and has held almost every sales position in the company. She started as an account representative on Cleveland's East Side and quickly established a reputation as a great prospector and strong closer. She was promoted to assistant sales manager in Cleveland and then took over as Sales Manager for the Akron/Canton market.

After successfully leading the Akron/Canton market to record results, Melissa moved to Columbus as Sales Manager, where she again posted record revenues. Following these achievements, Melissa was promoted to Sales Director, overseeing sales managers in Cleveland, Akron/Canton and Pittsburgh. After taking time off for the birth of her first child, Melissa returned as Sales Director for the Cleveland and Akron/Canton markets.

When Smart Business Network launched its current expansion efforts, Melissa was tapped to lead training of all new hires and eventually took over responsibility for all of the company's Florida and Ohio markets, which include Cleveland, Akron/Canton, Columbus, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky, Miami, Broward/Palm Beach and Tampa Bay. In addition, she oversees and manages all of the Smart Business conferences and live luncheon series.

Melissa is a 1990 graduate of Ohio University.
