Giving, not getting!

The mindset that you bring to a sales call or to a networking event is one and the same. You are there to give not to get. Don’t go in with a closed-fist mentality, which means nothing goes out but also nothing comes in.
Remember that your objective is to determine if there is a need for the product or service you provide. You will accomplish that by asking and listening, not telling and selling.
