Adding value

Technology – Sales Growth

Etactics Inc. is no stranger to being recognized for growth.

The company that Michael P. Teutsch founded in 1999 to provide cost-effective services that enhance the accuracy and delivery of time-sensitive documents, like invoices, is known for its success with continued growth. Proof is in the fact that the company won Cascade Capital Business Growth Awards in 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2009.

And yet, Etactics shows no signs of slowing down.

The company serves more than 2,000 clients through its agent/manufacturer representatives nationwide. During 2009, Etactics processed more than 23 million transactions on behalf of those 2,000 clients.

Teutsch’s continuous commitment to meet customer needs has created value-added products that allow the customer to see immediate improvement. That improvement is seen in the customer’s cash flow and automation and in the enhancement of the accounts receivable process. A major player in the health care market, Etactics delivers, edits and tracks insurance company invoices and patient statements for clients, which are mainly hospitals, physicians and billing services.

It’s no surprise that in order to help its growing list of clients, Etactics has added products and services to expand its business line.

Last year, Etactics began marketing a product called eCorrect. The product allows clients to meet new USPS mandates while, at the same time, minimizing undeliverable mail and its associated costs.

Etactics has seen growth for the last four years, which includes a sales increase of 108 percent. But there is more to come.

During this recession, Teutsch has invested in preparing the company for its next stage of growth. Teutsch has worked closely with Western Reserve Bank to position the company for the future. One undertaking has been looking for ways to outsource aspects of the business that are not part of Etactics’ core competencies. The company also moved to a new facility in Stow that will allow it to eventually grow its staff by 15 employees.

Etactics has 25 full-time employees and five part-time employees. In the next year, it expects to add as many as three new full-time employees to its staff. Etactics has been located in Summit County since its founding, contributing to the local economy.
