The Governor’s Awards for Women’s Excellence in Enterprise will recognize the achievements of Ohio women-owned businesses in a luncheon ceremony from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Ohio Statehouse Atrium.
Some of Ohio’s most successful women business owners will be honored at the event. Awards will be given in categories of Manufacturing/High Technology; Service; Wholesale/Retail/Real Estate/Construction; and Rising Star. The 1999 honorees were Rhonda DeMuth of TDCI in Columbus; Iris Rubinfield of Master Manufacturing Co. in Cleveland; Vickie Hutchins and JoAnn Martin of Gooseberry Patch in Delaware; Mindy Hedges of Media Solutions in Delaware; and Erin Nyrop Glasgow of Sterling Electric Co. in Dublin.
