Medical Publications Inc., publisher of Hospital News for the last 15 years, has launched Pittsburgh Boomers, a publication aimed at members of the baby boom generation.
The new publication is a monthly, distributed free at more than 600 locations to an estimated readership of 30,000.
Harvey Kart, publisher of the tabloid, says the publication fills the gap between the alternative newspapers and those publications aimed at the seniors’ market. He says the publication represents an opportunity for advertisers to reach “a lucrative demographic.”
