Carnegie Learning Inc. has raised $6 million in equity funding. The lead investor is Collier Investments Ltd. Other investors include Core Learning Group LLC, Pittsburgh-based Draper Triangle Venture Fund LP and Silicon Valley-based New Schools Venture Fund. Carnegie Learning, a spinoff of Carnegie Mellon University, has developed an integrated print and software curriculum for increasing mathematics test scores.
