Gahanna-based WinnScapes Inc. has been recognized as the top bidder for the purchase of Schmidt Nursery Co. from bankruptcy proceedings. The acquisition is expected to more than double WinnScapes’ landscaping services and increase its landscape maintenance and lawn care business by 40 percent.

Made From Scratch has broken ground on its 12,000-square-foot Northwest Conference Center located next to the company’s headquarters in Dublin. “We expect this facility to be used by consumers and corporations alike,” says Larry Clark, president and owner.

Lord, Sullivan & Yoder has earned seven first-place Prism Awards and three Awards of Excellence from the Central Ohio chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. The chapter presented 53 awards recognizing outstanding public relations programming by area organizations.
