Promedia of Ohio hired Rich Davis as multimedia producer. Prior to joining Promedia, Davis was videographer and editor for the Columbus Blue Jackets. Carol Hill was hired as a sales representative.

ODW Logistics hired Jeff Clark as vice president of sales and marketing. He is responsible for preparing and implementing a marketing and business development plan.

Five members of the marketing team of advertising and marketing agency Conrad, Phillips & Vutech garnered four American Graphic Design Awards, sponsored by Graphic Design: USA. The awards were for work that included an end-of-year report for the Children’s Hospital Foundation and a leatherbound, individually numbered marketing piece for Woodland Hall, a residential development.

Jeffrey Gerberry was promoted to principal in the Dublin office of accounting firm Rea & Associates Inc. He will perform technical review for compilation and review engagements and train associates through formal monthly sessions, which he will develop.

Huntington Bancshares Inc. hired Catherine H. Malear as executive vice president and director of human resources. She most recently served as senior vice president and head of human resources for ING Americas.

The American Institute of Architects, Columbus Chapter, elected Gene Milhoan, principal at Milhoan Architects LLC, as its president. New board members are Robert Livesey, professor and director of the Knowlton School of Architecture at The Ohio State University; Lane J. Beougher, associate and senior project architect at Braun & Stiedl Architects; and Timothy Hawk, principal architect at Wandel & Schnell Architects. All will serve two-year terms.

Kenneth B. Germain joined law firm Thompson Hine LLP as a partner in its intellectual property practice in the Cincinnati office. He focuses his practice in the areas of trademark counseling and consulting.

Blue Diesel, a leading interactive marketing company, promoted John Kadlic to vice president of account services. He will manage the account service team members and act as the point person for growing business with existing accounts.

Dr. Sissy Jhiang, an expert in endocrinology in The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, won the Van Meter Award for her contribution to the field of thyroid research. Jhiang also serves as a member of the National Institutes of Health Endocrinology Study Section.

KeyBank NA promoted Larry D. Snyder to vice president and manager of the trust and investment management department for the Central Ohio district. He is responsible for day-to-day management functions in the department.

Mary Pelini Grillo, a partner at Baker & Hostetler LLP, was elected to serve on the board of trustees of the Central Ohio chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The Independent Insurance Agents of Ohio elected Marcia Drake Lawson vice president. She is vice president of Benchmark Insurance Agency of Westerville.

United Wireless opened three locations in Columbus and hired Patrick Grove as area store manager for them. Thad Sergent was named associate store manager for the Easton location and David Fought was promoted to associate store manager for the Dublin location.
