Brechbuhler Scales Inc.
The company has moved its Canton office to a new, expanded facility on Scale Street in Canton. The new building has updated repair facilities, an environmentally controlled electronics repair room, expanded rental facilities and improved data and communications systems. Brechbuhler Scales is a 70-year old supplier of weighing equipment with 16 branches in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
UNB Corp.
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has approved the application for the merger of Canton-based UNB Corp., the holding company for The United National Bank & Trust Co., and BancFirst Ohio Corp., the holding company for The First National Bank of Zanesville. Upon completion of the merger, the new bank will be named Unizan Bank, National Association.
