The 50 tight-knit employees working at Avtron in 1966 weren’t thrilled when Dennis R. Anderson was hired right out of school. Despite a rough start full of challenges, the Case Western Reserve University graduate labored through, using his degree in electrical engineering to build a long record of significant innovations for the company. Now, after 45 years with Avtron, Anderson has more than earned his place among the growing, global company’s 425 employees.
Anderson serves as president of Avtron Industrial Automation Inc., one of three corporations under Avtron Holdings LLC. His company, which provides automatic test equipment, automation systems and products to a variety of industries, specializes in packaging these products to optimize their performance to increase customer productivity and profitability. Anderson and his team also aim to provide excellent long-term support.
With a long history of driving the process behind developing, producing and selling new products, Anderson is now leading a team to design a more innovative drive control system to be released within the next few years. The new design will be more reliable but have fewer moving parts, and its features and functions will result in a lower cost while improving dependability and energy use. The reduction of energy use in the design of the new drive control system aligns with Avtron’s “Green Motor Technology” initiative.
As proved throughout his impressive tenure with Avtron, Anderson’s company dedication, work ethic and innovative vision have helped build the company into the strong, profitable corporation it is today. Under his leadership, he has maintained a strong, long-term management team that follows his philosophy of loyalty and excellence.
