Discounting your price can work against you

Discounting your price can also discount your performance.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to speak to a lot of salespeople who have deeply discounted their price and then immediately suffered discount remorse.
In other words, they now felt they will be working hard but not getting fully compensated for it. If you are not careful, you could use that as a reason to cut corners and not perform at a high level because the customer did not pay full price.
So what’s the solution? Don’t discount your price and you won’t discount your performance.
