Don’t Shoot from the Lip!
I think we at one time or another have said something that we wish we could take back. The key is not to make it a habit.
You have probably heard or were even told, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything.” Easier said than done!
If you want to make sure that you don’t “Shoot from the Lip,” all you have to do is think before you speak. That will give you the additional time needed to determine if you should say it or don’t say anything. That’s what keeps me out of trouble at work and at home.
