Fit for a celebrity

As you pull up to Joe Saccone and Rick
Hauck’s Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, a
young man happily greets you and takes
your keys for valet parking. You enter the
restaurant and are shown to your table
with all the attention given to a movie star
— surrounded by the host, a manager and
multiple waiters. They greet you, confirm
that you’re comfortable and are eager to
help clarify the menu and make recommendations.

Throughout the meal, your waiters and the
manager check in often, making sure your
every whim is met promptly and completely, but your dining experience doesn’t end
when you leave the restaurant — expect a
follow-up call from a manager the next day
to ensure everything was perfect.

The Hyde Park staff strives to give each
customer more than just a nice meal and is
willing to sacrifice immediate profits to do
so. In one instance, a regional manager
sent a valet out in search of fast food for a
disgruntled 5-year-old diner who only
wanted a Happy Meal. They surprised and
impressed both the frustrated mother and
the young connoisseur, when the girl’s
hamburger arrived — toy included — on a
silver platter.

While the steakhouse strives to make
every guest feel important, it also has special services for its VIPs by reserving several tables during the dinner rush in case
they need a last-minute reservation, providing a special appetizer from the chef for
them and placing a special gift with a personalized note on the VIP’s car seat, such
as gourmet chocolates or nuts.

With these little touches, whether
you’re hosting an upscale dinner meeting
or simply taking the family out for a bite
to eat, you can expect a world-class experience at Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse.
