Juuhi Ahuja started her company based on two Q’s: quick and quality. She named it Wise Men Consultants because she wanted to let clients know that the like-minded professionals she hires offer high-quality, value-added talent.
Her formula not only matches clients with hard-to-find talent and takes the stress out of staffing, but it helps job candidates find their dream jobs. Her core business principle on which she founded the business, the two Q’s, remains to this day.
Ahuja, president and CEO of Wise Men, also had a vision to become a leading provider of IT services to Fortune 1000 companies, and today, Wise Men serves some of the top companies in the world, such as CenterPoint Energy, Reliant Energy, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Marathon Oil, Oracle Corp., IBM and Ryder Truck Rental.
To better service clients, Ahuja divided Wise Men into two divisions: the IT division, which covers IT staffing, consulting and professional services, production and support, software and right shore/offshore development; and the supply chain division, which covers supply chain staffing, consulting projects and offshore augmentation.
The majority of Wise Men’s clients are looking for more than just a service, and the company places a high value on professionalism, as well as on deep interpersonal relations, both within the company and with clients, customers and candidates.
Wise Men is an active member of the Houston Minority Supplier Diversity Council and the Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance, both of which serve as avenues for Ahuja’s interest in networking.
