Innovation news flash

Innovation, at its root, is the ability to take smart ideas and turn them into something tangible. That’s what the three Master Innovators who will participate in a panel discussion at the Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Innovation in Business Conference do every day.

  • Jack Kahl, CEO of Manco Inc., has made “duck” tape a household name and developed a workplace atmosphere in which his employees help drive the Avon-based company’s success.

  • Robert Mahoney, CEO of Diebold Inc., leads the charge of the Canton-based manufacturer, best known for its innovative approaches in banking equipment.

  • Tom Murdough, CEO and founder of Twinsburg-based Step 2 Co., is a toy maker with a flair for the new and exciting.

Join them and Art Falco, executive director of the Cleveland Playhouse Square Foundation, who will moderate the discussion and tap into the minds of these practitioners of smart ideas.

The conference will be held the evening of Oct. 7 at the Marriott in downtown Cleveland. If you practice smart ideas in your company, or know someone who does, let us know about them. You or they may be one of our Visionaries or Rising Stars that evening.
