Learn to disagree without being disagreeable!

When someone says something to you that you do not agree with, the key is not to become defensive. There is a technique that can be used that gives you an opportunity to disagree without becoming disagreeable in your response. It’s called A C S which is short for Acknowledge, Concern and Suggest.

You Acknowledge that you understand their viewpoint. Then you express your Concern about it and provide your alternative Suggestion. This technique is a non-threatening way to agree to disagree without becoming disagreeable.
