There was a time, not long ago, when you placed a call and the phone would ring until someone answered it.
Sometimes, I wonder how many opportunities are missed because of automated answering systems that prevent you from speaking to an actual person.
Don’t get me wrong, automated answering systems do serve a purpose as long as they are being used to capture all calls and a return call is made as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, that’s usually not the case.
Just answer your phone. You may be missing an opportunity.
