Westfield Bank promoted Timothy E. Phillips to president. He started his career with Old Phoenix National Bank and later Signal Bank, where he furthered his leadership skills as the Medina area regional president. He joined Westfield Bank as chief lending officer in 2003.
The bank also promoted Kevin P. Vonderau to chief lending officer. He brings 20 years of community banking experience and joined Westfield Bank in 2004 as senior loan officer, leading sales efforts.
Prestolite Performance appointed Steve Campbell as president. With more than 30 years of experience, Campbell will help the company explore new opportunities in the automotive industry and continue to enhance the family of brands with innovative products. He has decades of experience with Cooper Industries, a global electrical components manufacturer, where he managed its industrial and consumer product sales.
Amer Ahmad has joined KeyBank as senior vice president and head of Key’s public sector group. He previously served as deputy state treasurer and chief financial officer for the state of Ohio. Prior to that, Ahmad acquired significant transaction and advisory experience providing capital markets and M&A counsel to clients during his time at William Blair & Co. LLC, Nomura Wasserstein Perella & Co. Ltd. and Wasserstein Perella & Co. Inc. in both New York and Tokyo.
Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. hired Ronald Nielsen as general manager, global sustainability. In this newly created position, Nielsen leads Cliffs’ sustainability program, with responsibilities for creating a long-term vision to drive transformational change and performance initiatives across the global organization.
Cliffs also elected Andres Ricardo Gluski and Richard A. Ross to its board of directors. Gluski is executive vice president and chief operating officer of The AES Corp., and Ross is the former chairman and CEO of Inmet Mining Corp.
MCPc Inc. appointed Peter DiMarco to executive vice president of sales. He will preside over MCPc’s sales teams and regional vice presidents, as well as oversee the vendor management and marketing departments. DiMarco is a 25-year industry veteran and joins the company from Ingram Micro.
The B’laster Corp. promoted David Pate to executive vice president of sales. Pate has been with B’laster since 1997 and previously worked as national sales director for the past 14 years.
Zurich appointed Frank Hammers Great Lakes area executive for Zurich in North America. Hammers will be based in Independence and focus his efforts on building Zurich’s business segments in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio.
