Gerbig, Snell/Weisheimer & Associates Inc. has reorganized the agency’s leadership. According to R. Blane Walter, president and COO, the reorganization is designed to enhance the organization’s efficiency by encouraging more streamlined operations and diversifying decision-making responsibilities.

The agency’s reorganization includes the following promotions: Chris Snell, from executive vice president to president of GSW creative services; Al Cogossi, from vice president and CFO to executive vice president and corporate CFO; Phil Deschamps, from senior vice president to executive vice president, corporate client services; Joe Daley, from senior vice president to executive vice president, corporate client services; Mark Frank, from senior vice president to executive vice president, corporate client services; and Mark Anzalone, from senior vice president to executive vice president, consumer marketing and media.

“Chris Snell’s position as president, GSW Creative Services, recognizes the importance GSW and its clients put on creative services in the branding and marketing process,” says Walter. “Sound strategy cannot be ignored, but without effective creative, even the best strategy can fall flat.”

The board of directors of Lord, Sullivan & Yoder Inc. has approved the election of two presidents from among the firm’s officers and owners. Nancy Barr, executive vice president and director of client services, was named president and COO of Lord Sullivan & Yoder Marketing. Neil Mortine, executive vice president and director of public relations, was promoted to president and COO of Lord Sullivan & Yoder Public Relations. Lord Sullivan & Yoder Marketing and Lord, Sullivan & Yoder Public Relations are wholly owned operating units of LSY Inc.

William R. Case, partner of Thompson Hine & Flory LLP, has been elected to the board of trustees of Opera Columbus. Case practices in the litigation area of Thompson Hine & Flory’s Columbus office. Also at the firm, Amy L. Bostic, who practices in the banking, bankruptcy and commercial finance area, has been promoted to vice president of the board of trustees for the Epilepsy Foundation of Central Ohio.

Sandy Clary, founder of Clary Communications, has received one of public relations highest honors, the Donald P. Durocher Outstanding Professional Service Award, from the East Central District of the Public Relations Society of America. Clary received the Durocher Award for her commitment to excellence in public relations practice, education and community involvement. Clary is only the second person to receive the award, which was created to honor professionals who are role models for fellow practitioners.

In addition, Richard Studer, partner at Clary Communications, has received a Columbus Downtown Council Member of the Year Award. “For the past three years Rick has been instrumental in the development and implementation of the Facts and Figures brochure, which is used as an economic development guide for Columbus,” says Paula Ryan, chair of the council. “This award is about going above and beyond the call of duty.”

Jim Arnold has joined the law firm of Clark, Perdue, Roberts & Scott as a partner. Arnold, formerly a trial lawyer at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease for 12 years, will focus on complex personal injury, wrongful death and business tort litigation for Clark, Perdue, Roberts & Scott.
