Sewickley Graphics & Design Inc. acquired as new clients c.t. miller vineyards; Saint Kilian Parish; Saint Alexis Parish; and All Pro Embroidery. The firm also received awards from Graphic Designs: USA for projects designed for the Bishop’s Education Fund and for its own self-promotion piece.

BANKING

S&T Bank opened its Cranberry Business Center, where it offers the bank’s complete line of business services, including business loans, deposit services and corporate credit accounts, cash management, wealth management, employee benefit programs and investment counseling.

CONSTRUCTION

Burns & Scalo Roofing Co. received a roofing contract from general contractor Mosites Construction Co. for Robinson Court in Robinson Township. It also secured roofing contracts for Berenfield Containers in Easton, the Dow Jones Building in Springfield, Mass., and a distribution facility for Aldi Inc. in Saxonburg.

PWCampbell was awarded a design/build contract by KEMBA Financial Credit Union, based in Columbus, Ohio, to construct a branch office in Westerville, Ohio, and by Amphibious Base Naval Base Credit Union in Virginia Beach, Va., for a new branch facility in Norfolk, Va.

Repal Construction Co. Inc. was awarded the contract for the construction of a Blue Beacon truck wash facility in Breezewood.

The Regional Industrial Development Corp. of Southwestern Pennsylvania sold its first site in the RIDC Neshannock Business Park to Becan Development LLC, which will construct a 45,000-square-foot office and warehouse building on the seven-acre site. The facility will be leased to Valley Drug Co. of Youngstown, Ohio.

Massaro Co. was selected by Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh to provide general construction services to complete renovations at its Homewood branch, and for the construction of a 17,000-square-foot worship space and social hall for St. Cecilia Parish in Rochester Township.

Landau Building Co. was awarded a contract for construction management services for the Regional Learning Alliance Meeting and Conference Center.

HEALTH CARE

Concordia Lutheran Ministries acquired The Orchard, a licensed 60-bed personal care facility in Butler, and Ridgewood Place in Plum Borough, a 75-bed assisted living facility.

Hassan Bakri joined St. Barnabas Medical Center’s department of dental medicine as a prosthodontist, specializing in custom design and fitting of dentures and dental implants.

TRANSPORTATION & LOGISTICS

Pitt Ohio Express initiated next day service from Chicago to the East Coast from a new terminal in Forestview, Ill.

Keystone Dedicated Logistics secured agreements with MOLEX Inc., of Lisle, Ill., and Mac Lighting of Garden City, N.Y., to manage both companies’ domestic and international transportation.

RETAIL

Pet Supplies “Plus” opened its newest store in Chartiers Valley Shopping Center, Bridgeville. Features include a do-it-yourself dog wash, reference room, overnight care for small animals, a training area and an adoption room for area shelters and animal rescues.

Hearth & Home Furnishings received the Best Overall Merchandising-Single Store award in Casual Living magazine’s merchandising awards.
