Moore named CEO of Hexagram Inc.
Hexagram Inc., a Cleveland-based specialist in energy information management systems, has named Gary L. Moore as CEO.
Moore is responsible for all operations, from product development to sales and marketing, involving Hexagram’s STAR brand systems, the company’s flagship product line of fixed network automatic meter reading equipment.
Moore has been in management positions on both side of the energy delivery issue, having been a field operations director and customer service manager for Toledo Edison and a vice president with utility meter giant Schlumberger. He also served as sales and marketing vice president for Itron Inc., and president of Star Data Services, which developed energy information service products for the deregulated California market.
Immediately prior to be named to the top post at Hexagram, Moore was management services consultant in the medical device field. He has a business administration degree from the University of Toledo.
Industrial Transport Inc.
Industrial Transport Inc., an on-site logistics provider of freight trailer switching, yard management and inter-plant shuttle services, appointed Mattie Harris executive vice president and COO.
Harris is responsible for the daily operations, sales and marketing of the company’s 32 customer operations in seven states. Harris, who was previously vice president of corporate marketing for Roadway Corp., comes to ITI with 12 years of progressive responsibility in new ventures and corporate marketing in the transportation arena. In addition, her professional experience includes more than 20 years in consumer goods brand management and new business development.
OM Group Inc.
OM Group Inc. appointed R. Louis Schneeberger vice president of finance.
Schneeberger was CFO, partner and director of Olympic Steel Inc., and chairman of Royal Appliance Manufacturing Co. He began his career in an auditing and mergers and acquisitions capacity with Arthur Andersen.
He is currently a director for Peco II Inc., an advisory board member for Libra Industries, chairman of the board of trustees for JumpStart Inc., an advisory board member of Kent State University’s business school and a member of the board of trustees of the Achievement Centers for Children.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kent State University and became a certified public accountant in 1980.
AMEC
AMEC promoted Edward Welsh III to senior vice president.
A 20-year veteran of the U.S. Navy and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Welsh joined AMEC in 1994. He managed AMEC’s contract for the program management of the $1.2 billion construction of Heinz Stadium and PNC Park in Pittsburgh, as well as the newly opened David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh. Currently, Welsh leads AMEC’s North American effort in Iraq.
Innovative Process Administration
Innovative Process Administration promoted Timothy McLaughlin to senior vice president, product development. He is responsible for focusing on the future development of IPA’s Auto-Bene/eElect product. McLaughlin studied electrical engineering at Gannon University. He has a 17-year successful track record working with small to mid-sized computer and technology firms developing product offerings and marketing strategies.
IPA also appointed Brett Colasanti as vice president, strategic accounts. Colasanti’s experience includes systems analysis, systems programming, project management and account management, all focused around driving technology solutions to major company operations like Federal Express, OfficeMax, General Electric and others. He most recently was president of Buckeye Consulting. He will drive business development in key accounts, assist in developing/specifying new functions for the company’s toolsets and assist in improving the internal productivity of professional services at the company.
Parker Filtration Group
Doug Blakeman was appointed vice president of marketing/sales and business development of the Parker Filtration Group.
For the past four years, Blakeman has served as general manager of the Filter Division Europe. He began his Parker career in 1977 with the company’s Hydraulic Filter Division and progressively contributed to engineering, sales, product management, materials and plant management at Hydraulic Filter and as general manager of the Finite Filter Division. Blakeman has a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the University of Toledo.
Vantage Financial Group Inc.
Vantage Financial Group Inc. appointed William McCormick vice president, principal and equity owner of the Vantage companies. McCormick’s additional responsibilities include strategic growth and initiatives for the Employee Benefits Division at Vantage companies. He has been with the company for seven years. He had a BBA degree from Roanoke College, and a MBA from Radford University.
Litigation Management Inc.
John Gaul has joined Litigation Management Inc. as vice president and general counsel. Gaul will open a satellite office for LMI in the greater Philadelphia area. He will participate in development and management of regional and national litigation projects involving LMI’s medical information management services.
Prior to joining LMI, Gaul was a partner and managed the Pennsylvania office of Cetrulo and Capone while practicing in its toxic tort practice group. In that capacity, he acted as national coordinating counsel for both regional and national corporations in mass tort litigation. Previously, he had served for more than a decade as the director of law for the Center for Claims Resolution in Princeton, N.J., where he was responsible for the management of the nationwide asbestos personal injury litigation of the 22 member corporations.
