FORESIGHT NAMES HOMBALI DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
Satyen Hombali joined Foresight Corp., a provider of advanced business and automated transaction processing solutions for health care, as director of product management. In this newly created position, Hombali will use his more than 23 years of experience in IT services to manage existing and developing technology products.
“Foresight’s rapid growth has necessitated expanding our staff and bringing on a professional to manage the direction of our market-leading product line,” says Ed Hafner, CTO, Foresight Corp. “We are confident that Satyen’s extensive experience and impressive record in IT will be a major asset in executing our business plan.”
Hombali received a bachelor of technology degree with honors from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India. He completed several graduate-level courses in computer science at Michigan State University and Franklin University. He comes to Foresight from Optimum Technology, where he was vice president and CTO.
Hombali’s professional career includes international experience in manufacturing, distribution, financial services and federal, state and local government in the United States, the Caribbean, India, West Africa and the Middle East. He has served in a variety of IT positions at the senior executive level with major corporations, including Hindustan Lever, Lipton India and PricewaterhouseCoopers. In addition, he has developed several patent-pending and award-winning software products serving the law and regulatory enforcement functions of state and local governments.

The national law firm of Roetzel & Andress hired Edward Hertenstein and Erika Haupt as partners and Scot Crow as an associate in the firm’s business services group in Columbus.
Hertenstein and Haupt practice in the area of tax and estate planning. Crow focuses his practice in tax and business law, with an emphasis on estate and succession planning.

Since 1978, Hertenstein has practiced at Kegler, Brown, Hill and Ritter in Columbus. Haupt began her career in Canton in 1994 before joining Kegler, Brown, Hill and Ritter. Crow has a juris doctorate degree from Capital University Law School, and L.L.M. Taxation from Capital University Law School.

Moody Nolan Inc. promoted Valerie Klingman to director of engineering. Elizabeth A. “Bea” Thompson was promoted to principal and Brian Alting to associate.
With 18 years of experience, Klingman served as principal-in-charge of operations for the engineering division. In her new position, she is responsible for supervising the 22-person engineering group, from marketing projects through construction completion. She has worked on the construction and right-of-way plans for many highway projects in Ohio. Recent duties included the management of projects, coordination with local public agencies, utilities and subconsultants, and project proposal preparation.
Thompson has been the director of Moody Nolan’s Nashville office since joining the firm in 1995. She has been responsible for a variety of projects, ranging from new construction to historic renovation to aviation facilities. She has participated in all phases of a project, including planning, design, construction documents, negotiation, bidding, construction administration and post-construction reviews. With more than 25 years of experience, Thompson possesses a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Auburn University. Thompson and her family reside in Nashville.
Alting joined Moody Nolan nearly 10 years ago and has led the development of its 3D imaging practice. He was recently named director of 3D Design. He is proficient in Form Z, Microstation, Triforma and AutoCADD 2000. His project responsibilities include architectural 3D modeling and rendering, presentation materials and animation.
SAFEX
Dianne Grote Adams, president of Safex, was elected vice chair of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Local Section Council. The vice chair is a two-year term. After two years, the vice chair assumes the chair position for another two years.
The mission of the Local Section Council is to promote continued effectiveness and efficiency of AIHA local sections, to serve as a liaison among local sections and to provide collective local section positions to the AIHA Board and national AIHA office. There are approximately 80 local sections nationally represented on the council.

THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL EAST
Patrick Robertson was named chief financial officer for The Ohio State University Hospital East, where he is responsible for all business and finance functions of the hospital.
He has 14 years of budgeting and accounting experience with The Ohio State University Health System, most recently as corporate controller. He also worked two years as director of finance at Mount Carmel Health System.
Robertson is a graduate of Ohio State and past president of the central Ohio chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
With more than 750 employees, OSU Hospital East is a hub for Ohio State’s orthopedic surgery, family medicine, and chemical dependency and addiction medicine programs. The full-service hospital also provides emergency medicine services, surgery, cancer care, cardiology services and a wound healing program.
