Gordon Hunter was already a highly respected industry leader when he came to Littelfuse Inc., first as a member of the board of directors, which he now leads as chairman. From there, he became the COO and, in 2005, president and CEO. The company’s board elected Hunter to lead the company based on his industry experience, entrepreneurial approach and vision. When Gordon became CEO, the company was well established in its three business segments. While the company was founded in 1927 with the investing of a small, fast-acting fuse that prevented sensitive test meters from burning out, it has changed.
