Roger Geiger, director of the National Federation of Independent Business, Ohio, has been reappointed to the Governor’s Industrial Commission Nominating Council for a term ending Oct. 20, 2003.

Progressive Medical Inc., a national managed care provider to the workers’ compensation industry, has named Robert Schlabig vice president of information systems. He will oversee all corporate technology systems applications and manage employees responsible for the corporate Web site, intranet and daily operational computer systems.

Northland Alliance chairman Mark Bell has been called to active duty by the U.S. Army. Fred Damsen, co-owner of Roger C. Perry & Co., is the new Alliance chairman.

Michael McGee is Caspian Software’s director of professional services. He was formerly general manager of AdvizeX Technologies, and also worked for IBM and Battelle Memorial Institute. Caspian Software is an information consulting firm headed by CEO Emmet Apolinario.

The Central Ohio chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) has elected seven local professionals to its 2002 executive board. Seven others were selected to serve on the board of directors. Thompson Hine announced its newest European affiliation with the law firm Delporte Dugardyn de Their & Lefebvre (DDDL). The 13 partners and lawyers of the Belgian law firm will serve as of counsel attorneys of Thompson Hine LLP and will provide services to the Thompson Hine clients. DDDL’s clients will also have access to Thompson Hine lawyers.
