Reaffirm your customer relationships

We all have heard the expression, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” You have four specific opportunities to demonstrate that this is truly a customer relationship and not just another sale by Reaffirming Your Customers Relationships.

  1. After you close they need to hear you say “You made the right decision and here is why.”
  2. Within 72 hours, follow-up with a written thank-you, call or even a special welcome from the president.
  3. On-going connections that give you an opportunity to make sure expectations are being met, recommend value added products/services and ask for a referral.
  4. Year-end is your opportunity to thank them again for being a loyal customer.

Reaffirming your customer relationships will help you maintain a higher retention rate.
