Charity is embedded into the corporate culture at Staffing Solutions Enterprises. With the support and input from its team, the company has developed and implemented a 12-month charity campaign called SSE Monthly Give Back Program. Various programs are helped financially during the times they need it most — all the time.
It isn’t just employees who carry on the SSE Monthly Give Back Program. The company seeks help from clients, assignment employees and the community to reach its goals.
The company strongly believes that every dollar helps and sometimes the most important thing it can do is help create awareness for these charities in need. Each month the company highlights its charity efforts in its e-newsletter and encourages clients to donate. The staff’s participation in charity events is showcased on social media in photos, highlighting fun activities and ways for others to get involved.
Some of the charities chosen for 2014 benefit families in Northeast Ohio. For example, SSE collected 200 pounds of canned goods and food to donate to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank during its Harvest for Hunger campaign.
The company supports diverse causes, ranging from children to women and veterans organizations. Focusing on families, SSE was involved in the Go Red for Women American Heart Association campaign, for which an SSE employee serves on the 2014/2015 Executive Leadership Committee for the Cleveland campaign. Company employees also wore red and shared pictures on social media to encourage heart health for women.
Whatever the cause, charity is a long-term commitment for SSE.
