The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency wants to make you a star.

Do you or a fellow business owner have energy savings practices that are saving significant dollars for your enterprise? If so, the EPA wants to know. You may be eligible for an Energy Star Small Business Award from the agency.

The criteria are:

  • The business should be practicing exemplary energy efficiency that translates into real dollar savings.
  • Nominees who have shown creative and innovative solutions are encouraged to enter.

The awards are being offered through the EPA’s Energy Star Small Business program, a free service that helps small business owners cut costs through energy efficiency.
