Uniquely Cleveland — Jesse Owens laid down tracks in Cleveland

While he was born in Oakville, Alabama, Jesse Owens and his sharecropper family moved to Cleveland when he was 9 — and Ohio earned a share of the spotlight on the hero of the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin.
And in this 80^th year since the event, the first biopic on Owens, “Race,” has been released, covering his early years through his Olympic accomplishments.
