TICKETSNOW
TicketsNow named John Ketchum vice president of corporate programs. He is responsible for creating and managing programs designed to cater to TicketsNow’s high-volume corporate clients.

Ketchum was previously national accounts director for THG, where he spearheaded the national accounts program focusing on the sale and management of corporate hospitality packages for major international sporting events.

TicketsNow also hired Sridhar Murthy as its chief financial officer. Murthy is the former chief financial officer of Collabnet. He has contributed to the rapid growth of start-up entities becoming public companies and twice helped lead technology companies through successful initial public offerings.

Murthy started his finance career with Coopers & Lybrand in the San Francisco Bay Area and has progressed through a number of senior finance-related positions with emerging companies in the technology sector, including Verity, Remedy, Ariba and Get2Chip. Murthy is a chartered accountant from India and holds an MBA from Oklahoma State University.

INFORTE CORP.
Inforte Corp. named Stephen Mack controller, president and interim CEO. He replaces Dave Sutton, who resigned as chief executive officer and president.

Mack joined the firm shortly after its founding and co-led the firm for nine years. He transitioned from director, chief operating officer and president to a nonexecutive role on the board of directors in 2003.

FEDERAL SIGNAL CORP.
Federal Signal Corp. appointed Paul Box to vice president and chief procurement officer.

Box joins Federal Signal from Newell Rubbermaid Inc., where he was group vice president of procurement and led the company’s enterprise-wide global sourcing initiatives. Prior to that, Box was director of corporate procurement for Compaq Computer Corp. Previously, he served as manager of procurement for Motorola Corp. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from East Texas State University.

NAVIGANT CONSULTING
Navigant Consulting Inc. appointed Julie M. Howard president and chief operating officer. As president and COO, Howard is responsible for the overall management of the company’s operations, including business unit operation, strategic planning and human capital development.

Howard has worked for the professional services firm since 1986 and has experience in litigation and business environments.

DEVRY INC.
Daniel M. Hamburger succeeds Ronald L. Taylor as chief executive officer of DeVry Inc. Hamburger joined DeVry in 2002 as executive vice president and became president and chief operating officer of the company in 2004.

SYSMEX AMERICA
Sysmex America named Jeffrey Black chief financial officer, responsible for financial management, corporate planning and procurement. Black oversees the company’s capital structure, economic strategy and forecasting, company investments, treasury and controllership duties.

Prior to joining Sysmex America, Black was the mergers and acquisitions manager and the finance director of Delphi Mechatronic Systems. During his 15-year tenure with Delphi, Black led the company’s strategic acquisition, divestiture and joint venture projects, and the financial organization of a multinational business unit operating in eight countries. Black earned his master’s degree in business administration from Wayne State University and his bachelor of arts degree in organizational communication and development from the University of Michigan.

CORN PRODUCTS INTERNATIONAL
Corn Products International named Mary Ann Hynes vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, and an officer of the company. Hynes oversees the company’s legal and regulatory affairs, and serves as corporate secretary to the board.

Prior to joining Corn Products International, Hynes was senior vice president and general counsel, chief legal officer for IMC Global Inc. Before that she was senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for Sundstrand Corp. and general counsel, chief legal officer for Wolters Kluwer U.S. Corp.

Hynes holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and mathematics from Loyola University, J.D. and master of laws — taxation degree from the John Marshall Law School and an executive MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Business.
