Wipe your feet!

How do you make sure that your personal and job-related problems are not reflected in your treatment of people? That was the topic of discussion at a recent seminar that I conducted, and I received a great response from one of the participants. This is her solution;
When I get to work, there is a walk-off mat on the outside the door before you enter the facility. I wipe my feet several times and leave any personal problems on the outside. When I leave work, I wipe my feet again leaving any job-related problems at work.

All of us need to come up with our own solution so we don’t let our personal or job-related problems affect how we treat people. Wipe your feet!
