Whom do you admire most in business and why?

Jim Sinegal, president and CEO, Costco. He motivates his huge team to beat the competition. He takes time for charity and community activities. He still has unbelievable enthusiasm around every store they open.

What are the most important qualities a CEO should possess?

You have to know how to assemble a team, lead that team to create a differentiated plan that can be achieved, and you have to have the discipline, intelligence and decisiveness to hit your numbers.

How would you describe your leadership style?

I’m a good listener, decisive, externally focused. I think I’m good at building and leading teams and I think I’m good at placing bets.
