Larry Levy, founder of Levy Restaurants. I’ve learned the concepts of passion and nice from him and seen them come to life in the leader of a company who has a can-do attitude and an amazing positive spirit.

What are your favorite business books?

“Setting the Table” by Danny Meyer; “Good to Great” by Jim Collins

What has been your most important business lesson?

Surround yourself with great people.

What are the three most important leadership characteristics a CEO should possess?

Vision, set and lead by example, and a sense of humor. It humanizes a CEO.

How would you describe your leadership style?

I am collaborative, tough and fair. I have a ‘lead, follow or get out of the way’ mentality.
