What is the most important business lesson you have learned?

Business, like life, will always have its ups and down, and you have to enjoy the journey.

What is your definition of success?

The ability to make the people around you successful, the ability to help others, and the ability to continually challenge yourself to be a better person. In business or in career, it’s just finding enjoyment in doing what you want to do, something you’re passionate about.

What do you like best about being a leader?

Watching others around me grow

If you could have another job instead of being a CEO, what would that job be and why?

I love to serve, and if I wasn’t serving guests, I would probably be doing that in some other way — I’d be serving people, and I don’t care what it is. It might be running a hotel; it could be running a hair salon. I love to serve, I love to make people happy, and I try to enrich their lives.
