Geier joined OSU Medical Center's leadership team in 2001 as chief operating officer of The Ohio State University Medical Center. He previously had a 17-year career with Huntington Bancshares Inc., which positions as vice chairman, president and chief operating officer.
"Pete's keen understanding of business and health care and his ability to work through the myriad challenges facing an academic medical center -- at the same time meeting or surpassing some of the Health System's strategic goals -- certainly made people take notice," says Dr. Fred Sanfilippo, senior vice president and executive dean for health services.
Geier continues in the role of COO of OSU Medical Center to help maintain clinical, research, education and administrative collaboration on the organization's goals. "Consolidation of the responsibilities will allow us to integrate all of the activities of the medical center in a more seamless and strategic manner," says Sanfilippo.
Geier holds an MBA from Butler University and a bachelor's degree from Purdue University. In addition, he is a graduate of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.
FIFTH THIRD BANK
Fifth Third Bank appointed The Hon. Yvette McGee Brown to its board of directors in Central Ohio.
McGee Brown is president of The Center for Child and Family Advocacy at Columbus Children's Hospital. In addition to her work at the center, McGee Brown serves on numerous community boards and is a national speaker on parenting, child welfare and juvenile justice issues. She was the first African-American and the second woman to be elected to the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Division of Domestic Relations and Juvenile Court, where she served from 1993 to 2002.
Pierre Bigby joined Fifth Third Bank as an assistant vice president and wealth planner. In this position, Bigby develops innovative strategies for wealth management for customers and clients.
Bigby received his BSBA from The Ohio State University, majoring in finance, and received his Certified Financial Planner designation from The College for Financial Planning. Bigby is the current chairman and past president of The Financial Planning Association, Central Ohio Chapter.
LIMITED BRANDS INC.
Limited Brands Inc. promoted Jill Granoff to president and chief operating officer of Victoria's Secret Beauty. She most recently served as COO of Victoria's Secret Beauty, and now assumes responsibility for retail management, in addition to her oversight of business planning and development, operations, human resources, finance, merchandise planning and allocation, business process integration and new business development.
Victoria's Secret Beauty also named Christine Beauchamp president and GMM.
She assumes responsibility for creative, marketing, product development, third-party brand development and communications, including education and public relations. She most recently served as senior vice president of commercialization for Limited Brands and worked on the enterprise beauty strategy.
Anne Moorhead Petit accepted the position of vice president of real estate for Hondros College. Petit is the former superintendent of the Ohio Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing. In this new position, she coordinates and communicates with regulatory agencies, develops and expands real estate and appraisal class offerings and conducts instructor training.
In her role with the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing, Petit managed all state licensing of real estate brokers and salespeople, private investigators and security guards in addition to licensing and certifying general and residential appraisers.
PROGRESSIVE MEDICAL INC.
Progressive Medical Inc. promoted Eleanor Biddulph to vice president of service delivery.
Biddulph is responsible for directing and leading the Service Delivery and Accounts Receivable departments at Progressive Medical. She is also responsible for the strategic planning of departmental goals and initiatives; targeting the growth of the service delivery department, development of new products and the addition of new accounts and contracts.
She oversees the timely collection and accurate application of accounts receivable in support of corporate financial goals.
Progressive also promoted Lisa Scaggs-Oskoui to chief sales and marketing officer. She assumes responsibility for the strategic planning of departmental goals and initiatives; targeting the growth of Progressive Medical by developing new products and services and is instrumental in developing and maintaining Progressive Medical's client list.

Melissa L. Kidd joined Thompson Hine LLP as an associate in the firm's Personal and Succession Planning, and Corporate Transactions and Securities practice groups. She focuses her practice on counseling individuals, families and businesses in a wide range of personal, charitable, business and succession planning matters, as well as business transactions and succession planning for publicly-traded and privately-held businesses.
