A true survivor, John O’Leary shares his philosophy with others
It’s impossible not to be inspired by John O’Leary. Burned over his entire body at age 9, John was given only a 1 percent chance to live.
Not only did he survive, he went on to endure months of hospitalization, dozens of surgeries, amputation of all of his fingers, and years of painful therapy. John’s tragedy and recovery gave him the strength and experiences that he now shares with others through his Live Inspired philosophy.
I learned about John from Cohen & Co. CEO Randy Meyeroff, who has invited John to speak at several events, including his firm’s national client conference last year. “It was just a way for people to find their center and take that deep breath,” Randy recalls. “We had a lot of people say, ‘Thank you, that was really a gift.’”
If you are interested in learning more about John’s approach to living inspired, I recommend picking up his book, “On Fire: The 7 Choices to Ignite a Radically Inspired Life” or listening to his podcasts with other inspirational people.
