Here’s a look back at the 2015 Perspectives: Women Who Excel event
This conference is presented as an informal panel discussion with women of diverse backgrounds who discuss and debate these key topics as they relate to women in business. The Women Who Excel Conference is a morning event featuring an elegant, upscale breakfast followed by the panel discussion. The event has two goals: First, to educate women business owners and senior decision-makers on the issues facing women in business; and secondly, to encourage women to rise through the ranks of their existing companies, further their professional careers or found their own companies.
The Smart Business Women Who Excel Conference is designed to explore the issues of diversity as it relates to women. These issues may include topics such as:
• Competition for jobs
• The importance of higher education and workforce development
• Obtaining financing and credit lines for start-ups and existing businesses
• Diversity in the workplace
• Health care
• Competitive salaries
• Legal issues
