Firefighters Community Credit Union goes casual for a cause

CLEVELAND, Tues Sep 11, 2012 – There will be a lot of Levi’s, Wranglers and Calvin Klein jeans Sept. 12 on Firefighters Community Credit Union employees here as they ditch the required professional attire to support Miracle Jeans Day to raise money for The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

The credit union encourages the project as part of Miracle Jeans Day, a national fundraiser that started in 2009, allowing employees to wear blue jeans to work if they donate $5 to local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Anyone can donate to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at any of FFCCU’s four locations, now through the end of September. All money raised locally stays here to help children at Cleveland’s UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.

Because 100 percent of every dollar FFCCU donates to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals stays at Cleveland’s Rainbow Babies to help local children, this is a logical charity for a credit union that’s committed to nurturing its community.
