Brown is responsible for driving rapid revenue growth to expand market share within Europe. He will lead continued development of Interactive Intelligence's EMEA channel, now composed of 37 value-added resellers specializing in contact center automation, IP telephony, unified messaging and customer self-service.
Brown has more than 17 years of communications and information technology industry experience. Most recently, he held an advisory role with Red Electron, a specialist channel consultancy that he co-founded. Prior to that, he was Apropos Technology's vice president of international operations, where he built its EMEA and Asia Pacific operations from scratch, and contributed to a successful IPO in 2000.

HILLENBRAND INDUSTRIES INC.
Hillenbrand Industries Inc. hired Gary Larson as vice president, internal audit. Larson was previously vice president, finance and management information systems, at Solar Corp.

At Sullair Corp., Larson was responsible for the company's financial functions, its information systems function and its logistics and distribution department. During the prior eight years, he held a variety of internal audit and financial reporting positions at Sundstrand Corp., which was acquired by United Technologies in 1999.
ExactTarget, a developer of on-demand e-mail marketing software solutions, hired five key executives to support its growing business, which has expanded by more than 400 customers in 2004.
Joining ExactTarget are Jill Snyder, vice president of marketing; Bill Boncosky, general counsel; Karen Jung, director of product marketing; Joel Book, director of agency partner management; and Craig Herman, eastern sales director.
Snyder oversees brand awareness, analyst relations, public relations, company promotions and data analytics. Boncosky assists ExactTarget clients in understanding the legal environment surrounding e-mail marketing. Jung is responsible for positioning ExactTarget solutions in the marketplace as well as for customer research, competitive analysis and product documentation. Book works with both interactive and direct marketing agencies that use ExactTarget to create e-mail-marketing campaigns for their clients. Herman is responsible for managing a business development team from Florida to Massachusetts.
ExactTarget also promoted Chris Baggott to chief marketing officer. Baggott, a founding partner of ExactTarget, is the visionary behind the outbound e-mail software solution. He is responsible for driving the strategic direction of ExactTarget's market definition and position, new business development and partnerships that have led the growth of the company to nearly 2,500 customers in three years.
Duke Realty appointed Martin C. Jischke, president of Purdue University, as an advisory member of its board of directors. Jischke graduated with honors from the Illinois Institute of Technology and received his doctoral degree in aeronautics and astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to becoming president of Purdue University in 2000, Jischke was president of Iowa State University and chancellor of the University of Missouri-Rolla. He has also served as a White House fellow and special assistant to the U.S. secretary of transportation.
He is on the boards of directors of Kerr-McGee Corp., Wabash National Corp., the American Association of Universities and the American Council on Competitiveness, and has actively supported numerous other civic, corporate, government and academic organizations throughout his career. As an advisory member of the board, Jischke will participate in board activities in a nonvoting capacity and provide counsel to the board and management. It is anticipated that Jischke will be nominated for election to the board when a vacancy arises.
REMY INTERNATIONAL INC.
Remy International Inc. named Al Rowley vice president of its newly formed aftermarket services department. The department will coordinate brand management and analysis and report to President and CEO Thomas Snyder.
Prior to joining Remy, Rowley held executive positions with Delphi, AC Delco and Delco Remy, all primarily in aftermarket activities. He received his bachelor of science degree in marketing and sales from The Ohio State University and has participated in advanced management programs at Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management.
Reporting to Rowley are Brian Richardson, director of aftermarket programs, and John Pyzik, adviser. Richardson joined Remy in 2000 after 20 years with Allison Transmissions, where he served in a variety of engineering and marketing roles. He holds a bachelor of science degree in engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University's Kelly School of Business.
Pyzik has been an adviser to Remy since its formation. He brings more than 20 years of General Motors and Delco Remy management experience, most recently as public relations director, where he coordinated media relations, advertising, trade shows, promotions, motor sports and premium incentives programs. Pyzik holds a bachelor of science degree from Ball State University.
