What was your very first job?
My father … owned a movie theater, and at a very young age, he gave me a candy machine and ... in those days, it was a nickel for a piece of candy, so I would buy the candy from a candy wholesaler and that was my job. I would pay the candy wholesaler, load it, and I would take the nickels out, and I would have a profit.
Whom do you admire most in business and why?
I’d have to go back to (Kirk) Kerkorian just because he’s extremely honest, he’s extremely sensitive, he’s extremely direct, and you know what’s he’s telling you, you can rely on.
If you could be one superhero, who would you be and why?
I had one until he died a few years ago, it was Wilt Chamberlain, because he was bigger and stronger than anybody. Wilt was always bigger than life.
