What was your first job, and what did you learn from it?

Customer service representative for an insurer; I learned your customers are the most important part of your business.

What’s your definition of success?

Seeing positive results in what you do, while genuinely enjoying it and those you work with.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Fix the roof while the sun is shining, which means always be anticipating potential outcomes and address situations before they become problems.

Your workday is off to a bad start. How do you turn it around?

I find that I can get my day back on track by picking one thing to work on and getting it done. There is always so much to do, so it is important to prioritize. Being able to bring closure to an issue is very satisfying, and I also find that asking my colleagues for their input can help find beneficial solutions more quickly.
