Tollgrade Communications Inc. has joined the Pittsburgh Digital Greenhouse as a corporate partner. As part of its membership, Tollgrade will participate in technology advisory board meetings held by the Digital Greenhouse and will receive preferred access to "system-on-a-chip" research and training modules funded by the organization.

Sony Electronics has committed to establish the Sony Semiconductor Design Center in Pittsburgh this fall. The new center will be part of the Pittsburgh Digital Greenhouse initiative. Its location has not been finalized.

CoGo's Co. has agreed to enter into a master franchise joint venture agreement with J&F Consulting Co., a management consultant based in Shenyang, China. The deal allows the CoGo's and CoGo's Express trademarks and franchise to be marketed, sold and developed throughout China. CoGo's also has agreed to acquire the assets of the 20-store Stop 'N' Go of Western Pennsylvania chain.

Innovate E-Commerce Inc., an e-commerce business-to-business consultant, has purchased the assets of e-commerce support company Borden Services Inc. of Columbus, Ohio.

Weber Murphy Fox Inc. has been selected to assist the Ruthfred Lutheran Church in additions and renovations to the facility in Bethel Park.

Fidelity Bancorp Inc. has completed its merger with Pennwood Savings Bank. The merger creates a financial institution with $570 million in assets.

Sewickley Graphics & Design has acquired the Allegheny County Airport Authority, Allegheny Financial Group, Allegheny Investments, Columbia-CGI Gases and Envirotrol Inc. as new clients.

The Playground Drop-In Center at Monroeville Mall has reopened under new management. The center caters to parents or other caregivers who need short-term child care.

Dickie McCamey and Chilcote has opened an office in Steubenville, Ohio. The new office brings the number of the firm's locations to five, with offices in Pittsburgh, Wheeling, W.Va., Philadelphia and Central New Jersey.

The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh has approved agreements in support of future phases for the South Shore Place residential development. The developer, Signature Homes, plans to construct approximately 85 units in the development, which lies between the Monongahela River and Wharton Street, and South 16th and South 19th streets.

The Nutrition Club has signed leases to build stores in Nittany Mall in State College, River Valley Mall in Lancaster, Ohio, and Midway Mall in Elyria, Ohio. The Nutrition Club is a nutrition and supplements chain.

Vocollect Inc. has selected Desbrow & Associates as its agency of record. The firm will provide an array of services to Vocollect, including Web site and trade show development and design, as well as creation and implementation of programs for trade advertising, collateral and media relations.
