What’s been your greatest business challenge?
This is a business where you’re solely dependent on physicians for your revenue, and they’re not your employees. So working with the medical staff and making the hospital a place where they want to admit, write orders and be associated with has been a great challenge.
What is your favorite business book? “Good to Great,” by Jim Collins
Whom do you admire most in business and why?

If you stay grounded, leadership isn’t a hard job.
How would you describe your management style?
I’m relationship-based. I try to get as much information as possible before I make a decision.
