WELD Pittsburgh chapter launches with first keynote event

Women for Economic and Leadership Development is launching its Pittsburgh chapter. WELD will commemorate this achievement with its first keynote event at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at The Fairmont.
Motivational speaker, the “Amazing” Tei Street, founder of StreetTalk, will speak on how purpose, principle and passion produce powerful people. Street delivers keynote addresses to women seeking inspiration from her messages, as she shares engaging stories, her sense of humor and heartfelt honest.
Street currently serves as the education director for the Partners Achieving Community Transformation, on behalf of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Prior to the launch of her motivational speaking, training and educational consulting company, Street amassed a wealth of experience in higher education, curriculum development and training in sexual assault prevention, domestic violence prevention and advocacy, education and youth leadership development.
Street also wrote “I’m the Amazing Tei Street … Would You Like To Be Amazing, Too?” which was released in 2016.
This keynote event, which features a reception and dinner program, will provide an opportunity to meet the group of women who lead the Pittsburgh chapter and bring best-in-class WELD leadership programs and events to the Pittsburgh region.
